West Point School Bankura

West Point School is a premier English Medium Co-Educational institution committed to holistic education and character-building. Rooted in the philosophy of man-making, our school goes beyond conventional academics to nurture young minds with a well-rounded and value-driven approach.

Inspired by the educational principles of F.W.A. Froebel’s Kindergarten system, we emphasize two fundamental aspects: making the outer inner and the inner outer—helping children grow naturally and spontaneously. Our educational philosophy aligns with the ideals of Tagore’s Shantiniketan while keeping in mind Swami Vivekananda’s vision: “Education is not the amount of information that is put into your brain and runs riot there undigested all your life.” We believe in drawing out the innate potential of every child rather than merely imparting information.

Starting from Nursery, LKG, and UKG, West Point School has steadily grown into a full-fledged Higher Secondary (10+2) institution, affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Our curriculum is designed to provide a strong foundation for higher education while fostering creativity, critical thinking, and moral values.

At West Point School, we don’t just educate; we illuminate young minds and empower them to become responsible, confident, and future-ready individuals.
