The Modern Academy

The Modern Academy, established in 1993 in Dhakuria, Kolkata, stands as a prominent institution renowned for its excellence in providing English Medium education. Affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), a globally recognized private educational board, the academy is celebrated for its well-rounded approach to student development.

The core ethos of The Modern Academy is to prepare students holistically, equipping them to confront the challenges of the future. The institution emphasizes the creation of an integrated personality with an open mindset, fostering an environment where education transcends beyond the confines of traditional examinations. Here, the measure of educational progress extends beyond high scores; it emphasizes the creative unfolding of each student's latent potential, allowing them to blossom at their own pace.

At The Modern Academy, educators play the role of facilitators and nurturers, guiding young minds toward their full potential. The institution boasts a comprehensive program encompassing curricular, co-curricular, and extra-curricular activities, ensuring a well-rounded development for its students.

Notably, the Students Council, comprising the Head Boy, Sports Captain, and House Captains, holds a pivotal role within the school's framework. Encouraging responsibility and leadership, this council allows students to learn the value of interaction, teamwork, and collective responsibility. Witnessing students integrate and identify with their groups while shedding the constraints of individuality stands as a rewarding aspect of the school's holistic approach to education.
