About School
Rose Bud School, Liluah, stands as a testament to Kathleen Jane Janet Maud's vision, deeply rooted in Swami Vivekananda's belief that "education is the manifestation of the perfection present in man." Founded in 1963, this institution emerged from humble beginnings in Liluah, aiming to dismantle barriers to education, offering equal opportunities regardless of class, caste, creed, or gender.
Under the dedicated leadership of Mr. Frederick Vincent and Mrs. Pamela Vincent, the school began with limited resources, fostering its growth from a small rented property with just two students to its present stature. Mrs. Vincent's full-time commitment in 1977 marked a pivotal moment, amplifying the school's expansion from Vivekanand Colony to a new property at G.T Road in 1990.
Guided by Mr. K.S. Narayan and the relentless support of the local community, Rose Bud School underwent a transformative journey. This dedication culminated in the school's affiliation with the Council For the Indian School Examination in 1999, solidifying its commitment to academic excellence while upholding Swami Vivekananda's ideals of accessible and quality education for all.
