Pramila Memorial Advanced School

Established in 1995, the Pramila Memorial Advanced School stands as a testament to the visionary legacy of Late Manomohan Roychoudhuri, a luminary teacher, mathematician, and philanthropist. Named in honor of Late Pramila Roychoudhuri, his esteemed wife, this institution was spearheaded by their daughter-in-law, Smt. Gouri Roychouduri, an ex-renowned teacher and educationist, echoing their commitment to spreading quality English education.

Driven by the noble mission of the 'Pramila Memorial Education Trust, ' formed in 1995, retired and eminent teachers and professors united to uplift the school from a small unit to a fully recognized English Medium High School. Today, it stands proudly as a co-educational institute, receiving government approval in 2005 and subsequent affiliation from the Council of Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi, in 2006.

The school's expansion continued with the introduction of ISC (Class X) in three streams – Science, Arts, and Commerce in 2010, solidifying its affiliation with C.I.S.C.E. (I.C.S.E. & I.S.C.). Nestled amidst natural greenery, the school offers a serene learning environment, complemented by spacious classrooms, a vast library with 10, 000 books, well-equipped labs, and expansive sports facilities, including badminton, basketball, and volleyball courts, with plans for a swimming pool project.

Beyond the physical infrastructure, the school boasts highly qualified and convent-educated teachers from reputable backgrounds, dedicated to the noble service of education. Expert input from external subject specialists enriches the curriculum, ensuring a holistic educational experience for students.
