Nirmala Convent School

In the tapestry of Siliguri's educational landscape, Nirmala Convent School stands as a vibrant testament to a vision realized—a beacon of educational excellence tailored to the town's needs. Established on the 20th of June 1994, this school emerged in response to the resounding call for an institution dedicated to nurturing young minds, initially embarking on its journey with humble Nursery to Grade I classes.

Under the compassionate stewardship of the Missionary Sisters of the Immaculate (Nirmala Sisters) affiliated with the Siliguri Nirmala Vikas Samiti, this institution embodies a commitment to holistic education. It proudly gained affiliation with the Council of I.C.S.E. Examination in March 2002, marking the onset of a journey toward academic distinction.

Nirmala Convent School received its permanent affiliation to the Council of Indian School Certificate Examinations on May 26, 2003, a pivotal milestone unlocking the gates to higher education. With the dawn of class XI and XII in the same year, the school ventured into a new realm of academic endeavor. March 2006 witnessed the inaugural batch of students undertaking the ICS Examination, marking an epoch of achievement.

Embedded in its identity as a Catholic, private, unaided institution, Nirmala Convent School exudes a spirit of compassionate learning, fostering not just academic brilliance but also nurturing values and character, sculpting individuals poised to embrace the world beyond the classroom.
