Modern English Academy

Modern English Academy, ensconced within a sprawling 2-acre campus in Barrackpore's cantonment area, stands as an English medium co-educational institution, offering higher secondary education. Its inception in April 1998 was prompted by the necessity for a secondary school catering to students transitioning from Modern School, Barrackpore. The school's establishment was steered by the Barrackpore Park Road Christian Education Society, a registered society under the W.B. Societies' Act, and owes its founding to Mrs. Enid Isaac, an esteemed educationist with over 50 years of experience in the field.

The institution serves as a natural extension for students who have completed their education at Modern School, Barrackpore, ensuring a seamless educational journey. Situated in a prime location within Barrackpore, Modern English Academy is dedicated to delivering quality education in an English medium environment, fostering holistic development among its students.

Under the visionary guidance of Mrs. Enid Isaac, the school upholds a tradition of educational excellence, aiming not only to impart knowledge but also to nurture character, critical thinking, and a spirit of inquiry. The institution's affiliation with progressive teaching methodologies and a committed faculty ensures a conducive environment for students to excel academically and develop as responsible individuals prepared for higher education and life beyond school.
