Mahadevi Birla Shishu Vihar

Established in 1946 as the pioneering educational institution under the Ashok Hall Group of Schools, Mahadevi Birla Shishu Vihar began its journey as a playschool by Late Sarala Birla, designed initially for her son, Shri Aditya Vikram Birla. Celebrating its 75th year, our esteemed institution stands as a beacon of trust and excellence in Kolkata's educational landscape.

Embedded within our foundation is the visionary ethos of our founder, Late Sarala Birla, emphasizing child-centric education. This foundational principle has propelled us to evolve into a distinguished institute renowned for academic excellence.

Pioneering achievements mark our legacy, notably being the first school in Kolkata to receive certification from the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO). Our thriving Alumni association bears witness to the remarkable achievements of our students, showcasing their academic and professional prowess.

Aligned with the Council for Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE Board), New Delhi, our institution upholds rigorous academic standards, fostering a dynamic learning environment that transcends traditional education, nurturing well-rounded individuals equipped for academic and professional success.
