Kendriya Vidyalaya Sukna

Nestled within the serene Sukna Forest area of Siliguri, West Bengal, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sukna has been a beacon of educational excellence since its establishment in 1977 under the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. As an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education, our vision is to uphold educational standards and lead the way in the field of schooling.

Spanning across a sprawling 40469 square meters, our campus isn't just about academic rigour but also about holistic development. Each year, we organize educational tours, fostering experiential learning beyond the confines of classrooms. Our commitment to innovation is evident through events like the Youth Parliament seminar and science exhibitions, encouraging students to explore new frontiers of knowledge.

Cultivating a spirit of service and leadership, our school boasts a vibrant Scouts, Guides, and N.C.C team, instilling values of discipline and responsibility. Community engagement remains at our core, evident through annual blood donation camps, sports days, and grand annual celebrations.

Emphasizing both physical and mental well-being, our facilities include indoor games and yoga activities. Prioritizing essential amenities, we ensure access to adequate toilet facilities and drinking water. Moreover, our infrastructure comprises state-of-the-art IT resources, an enriching library, and an excellent music room, fostering a conducive environment for comprehensive learning experiences.

Our modernized laboratories stand as a testament to our commitment to practical learning, enabling students to delve deeper into scientific inquiry and exploration. Situated amidst the lush acres of Sukna's forested landscape, our school isn't just a hub of education; it's a nurturing space where students explore, learn, and thrive in an environment conducive to their holistic development.
