Julien Day School Elgin Road

The ethos of Julien Day School is centered on delivering exceptional education to all its students. Our primary objective is to offer a world-class educational experience by fostering an innovative, challenging, and enterprising learning environment. We meticulously integrate literary and cultural opportunities into the academic journey of every student while upholding a strong emphasis on discipline.

Under the aegis of the Julien Educational Trust, an esteemed private organization led by influential members of the Anglo-Indian community, Julien Day School operates four branches in Kolkata, Ganganagar, Kalyani, and Howrah. As an English-medium, co-educational institution, we welcome students from Anglo-Indian and Christian backgrounds. Founded by the late Mrs. Grace Julien, a distinguished educator of her era, the school is governed by the board of trustees of the Julien Educational Trust. Additionally, we extend admissions to non-Christian children from diverse backgrounds, aiming to partner closely with all students to unlock their unique potential for both personal and professional success.

Established in different years, the Julien Day Schools in Kolkata (1969), Ganganagar (1976), Kalyani (1988), and Howrah (2007) are affiliated with the Council of Indian School Certificate Examinations. Our curriculum offers the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) at the Class X level and the Indian School Certificate (ISC) at the Class XII level, comprising three distinct streams: Science, Commerce, and Humanities. Through these academic pursuits and affiliations, we aim to foster a robust academic foundation and holistic development for every student entrusted to our care.
