Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Kalpathar

On the propitious day of December 20th, 2005, the cornerstone of educational excellence was laid as Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Kalpathar, Bankura, emerged as a beacon of learning. Established as part of the esteemed Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNVs) system and managed by the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS), this institution stands as a testament to the commitment to nurturing young minds.

JNV Bankura, a Senior Secondary School affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), is more than an academic hub. Nestled in the scenic Kalpathar area, it serves as a coeducational boarding school, cultivating knowledge and character from grades VI to XII in an English Medium environment.

The school's inception in 2005 marked a monumental step toward fostering holistic education, embracing a vision that extends beyond academic excellence. It stands as a testament to the government's commitment to providing quality education and shaping future leaders.

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Kalpathar, embodies the ethos of the JNVs, offering a nurturing environment that transcends traditional education. It's not merely a place of learning; it's a sanctuary where young minds are sculpted to be resilient, inquisitive, and ready to contribute meaningfully to society.
