HOLY CHRIST SCHOOL

Founded by the visionary Smt. Deepa Banerjee, formerly known as Kuldeep Sharma, on April 24, 2001, under the aegis of the Baranagar Domanic Savio Educational Society, the school stands as a testament to her dedication to inclusive and quality education. Hailing from a lineage steeped in education and influenced by her uncle, the late Dr. Hansraj Sharma, a revered educationist and freedom fighter, her journey embodies a commitment to nurturing young minds regardless of caste or financial status.

Sunrise English Medium School, a co-educational institution, obtained permanent NOC for CISCE affiliation in 2016, marking a significant milestone in its pursuit of academic excellence. Its achievements span not just academics but also cultural events and sports, fostering an environment where students thrive in multiple domains.

The school's ethos reflects inclusivity and reverence for diverse cultures, celebrating the birthdays of luminaries like Bhagat Singh, Guru Nanak, Jesus Christ, Netaji Subhas Ch. Bose, and Kabi Guru Rabindranath Tagore. Notably, it extends support to Hindi-speaking communities and first-generation English learners, providing subsidies and study materials to deserving students.

Smt. Deepa Banerjee's educational impact extends beyond a single institution; she is also the founder of Holy Christ School in Kolkata, serving over 2500 students and expanding her educational footprint with Holy Christ Secondary School in Dankuni.

Supported by her husband, Shri Alok Kumar Banerjee, Smt. Deepa Banerjee's ambitious vision includes the establishment of Holy Grace International School, a sprawling CBSE institution in Gaziabad, showcasing her unwavering commitment to shaping future generations through education. With her son, Dr. Kaushik Dev Sharma, by her side, her leadership continues to steer educational aspirations toward a brighter horizon, epitomizing her dedication to transformative learning experiences.
