Durgamoyee Academy school

Durgamoyee Academy stands as a testament to the transformative power of education—a vision sculpted by the noble aspirations of the late Krishna Chandra Biswas and his esteemed wife, late Durgamoyee Biswas. Their dream was simple yet profound: to shape not just scholars but well-rounded individuals capable of contributing meaningfully to society.

Established in 1999, Durgamoyee Academy embodies a philosophy where education transcends the mere assimilation of knowledge from books. It's an institution where each lump of clay, each student, is seen not for what they are but for what they can become under the skilled guidance of nurturing educators—a metaphorical potter shaping them into individuals of substance.

Much like raw iron transformed into steel, life itself gains purpose and meaning through education. But here, education isn't confined to textbooks; it's a beacon lighting the path toward all-round development. The ethos of Durgamoyee Academy isn't just about academic excellence; it's about nurturing character, fostering values, and igniting the flame of curiosity and inquiry.

Affiliated with the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), Durgamoyee Academy isn't merely a Co-Ed school; it's a cradle of academic rigor and holistic growth. Its foundation lies in a commitment to providing an educational experience that goes beyond classrooms—a journey that empowers students to excel not just academically but also in the realms of character, empathy, and leadership.

As Durgamoyee Academy embarks on its journey, it vows to fulfill the aspirations of esteemed academics, guardians, and its founding visionaries. It aims to be more than just an educational institution; it aspires to be a catalyst for nurturing individuals equipped to face the challenges of a dynamic world—a true bastion of academic excellence and holistic development.
