About School

Birla High School, a bastion of academic excellence, stands proudly on the  ideals envisioned by its Founder President, Shri Lakshmi Niwas Birla. Situated in the heart of the city, it has earned acclaim as one of the premier CBSE schools in India, offering an education that transcends conventional boundaries, preparing boys for the challenges of life.

Since its inception in 1940, the school has been guided by the visionary foresight of Shri Lakshmi Niwas Birla, whose principles have become the bedrock of the institution. Rooted in timeless values, these principles have been seamlessly woven into the ethical fabric of the school, remaining steadfast over the years. Birla High School, therefore, stands as a testament to the enduring legacy of its founder.

The school's curriculum is meticulously designed to focus not only on academic excellence but also on ethical and spiritual development. It goes beyond textbooks to instill in students a sense of personal growth, nurturing well-rounded individuals equipped to navigate the complexities of the modern world. The emphasis on international understanding reflects the school's commitment to addressing the needs of the hour, fostering a global perspective among its students.

Birla High School offers more than just a syllabus; it provides an outward-looking, forward-thinking education that prepares students not only for examinations but for life itself. The institution's commitment to holistic development is reflected in a myriad of curricular and co-curricular activities that shape students into well-rounded individuals capable of contributing meaningfully to society.

In the corridors of Birla High School, academic rigor harmoniously coexists with a focus on character, ethics, and global awareness. It is more than a school; it is a crucible where young minds are shaped, nurtured, and empowered to become not just successful individuals, but responsible global citizens. Other Information

Birla High School offers a wide range of activities that encompass Art, Craft, Music, and Dance (ACMD) classes. Our aim is to provide a perfect balance between Indian and Western culture. ACMD classes are thoughtfully designed to offer every student an opportunity to learn beyond their academic studies. We strongly believe that these activities can help students develop their social and intellectual skills, moral, cultural, and ethical values, and contribute to their personality and character development. ACMD classes are a part of the curriculum for students from classes VI to X, held once a week for each class.

Students who opt for Art receive training in various painting and sketching techniques.

Craft classes allow students to create exquisite handmade items.

Our experienced team of teachers offers classes on a variety of musical instruments, including Tabla, Sitar, Harmonium, Spanish Guitar, Violin, and Synthesizer.

We teach Indian contemporary and Western dance styles based on Indian music and also emphasize the importance of developing an aesthetic sense of dance in students.
