Assembly Of God Church School Ukhra

With its humble inception in 1978, Assembly of God Church School Ukhra embarked on its journey as "Modern School, " housed in a bungalow provided by the Eastern Coalfields Limited authorities. At its outset, the school comprised merely 10 staff members and was affiliated with the Council for ISC Examination, New Delhi.

In 1980, the school underwent a transformation under the stewardship of the Assembly of God Church Mission and the guidance of founder Member Mrs. A. Aidinyantz, along with the late (Mrs.) M. Paul serving as the headmistress.

The school's trajectory has been marked by significant milestones. Mrs. Aidinyantz's continued support and blessings as a Member of the School Board have been invaluable. The mantle of leadership transitioned from the late M. Paul to Mr. David Lawrence, followed by Mrs. B. Shah, who has been associated with the school since its inception.

Under the exemplary leadership of the late A.K. Malvea, the school reached new heights of distinction. Upon his tragic demise in March 2002, Mrs. P. Malvea assumed an administrative role across the three Assembly of God Church Schools in Asansol, Sodepur, and Ukhra.

Additionally, Mr. R. Emmanuel served as the Assistant Headmaster for a two-year tenure, contributing significantly to the school's development before returning to A.G. Church School, Sodepur, as the Headmaster.

Throughout its history, Assembly of God Church School Ukhra has strived for academic excellence and holistic development.

This version aims to retain the essence of the school's journey and the notable individuals involved while presenting the information in a refined and academically focused manner.
