Angadpur High School, tracing its roots back to its inception as a Senior Basic School on February 1st, 1962, underwent a series of transformative milestones in its educational journey. Evolving from a Three Class Junior High School on January 1st, 1970, the institution experienced a significant upgrade endorsed by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education, elevating it to the status of a 10-class High School, known as Angadpur High School, effective from January 1st, 1980.

On June 12th, 2002, the institution achieved a monumental upgrade sanctioned by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education, soaring to the esteemed status of a 12-class Higher Secondary School.
