About School
In January 1964, Pastor Buntain, moved by the plight of Kolkata's poor and homeless children, founded the first Assembly of God Church School Junior with an enrollment of 200 children. The school aimed to provide education, a mid-day meal, and holistic nurture, focusing on underprivileged children. Following this, nine Village Vernacular schools were swiftly established in rural South Bengal during the 1970s. Expanding the mission, a second English Medium school emerged in Tollygunge, accompanied by a Teachers’ Training Junior College. In subsequent years, the educational outreach extended with the establishment of several more schools in various towns across West Bengal.
