The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced a revision to the NEET PG 2024 exam city allotment schedule. The new date for the test city allotment is now July 31, 2024, revised from the previously scheduled date of July 29, 2024. This allocation will only indicate the name of the city where the test centres will be located. Detailed information regarding the test centre address will be provided on the admit cards.

The admit cards for NEET PG 2024 are expected to be released on August 8, 2024.

The examination, initially set for June 23, 2024, was postponed by the Health Ministry and is now scheduled for August 11, 2024. Following the announcement of the new exam date, the NBEMS released a list of 185 cities for the test and requested candidates to select four preferences.

Test city allocation will be carried out randomly based on the cities selected by the candidates. Due to potential constraints such as overcapacity, logistical, administrative, or security issues, candidates may not always receive a test centre in one of their preferred cities. In such cases, candidates will be allocated a test centre in a nearby available location.

If a candidate does not select any test centres within the provided window, they will be assigned a test centre at any available location in the country.
