An official notification from the National Testing Agency (NTA) states, "The National Testing Agency (NTA) wishes to inform all stakeholders, particularly prospective candidates, that the syllabus for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG - 2025 has been finalized by the Under Graduate Medical Education Board (UGMEB) of the National Medical Commission (NMC). In accordance with Public Notice dated December 14, 2024, issued by the NMC, the comprehensive syllabus for NEET (UG) 2025 has been published and is available for public reference on the official NMC website. For detailed information, please refer to Annexure-1. Candidates preparing for NEET (UG) 2025 are strongly encouraged to utilize this syllabus in their study preparations."

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been conducting the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) for Undergraduate courses since 2019, with the approval of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and the Ministry of Education.
