CBSE Class 12 Date Sheet 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the date sheets for the Class 10 and 12 board examinations for 2025. Students can download the CBSE date sheets from the official website, cbse.gov.in.
The Class 12 examinations will be conducted in a single shift from 10:30 am to either 12:30 pm or 1:30 pm, depending on the paper's duration. The exams will commence with the Entrepreneurship paper on the first day, and will conclude on April 4 with the Psychology paper.
In preparing the date sheets for Class 10 and 12, the board ensured that there is an adequate gap between exams. They have also taken care to prevent clashes with various competitive exam schedules, ensuring that teachers are not required to remain away from schools for extended evaluation periods. Moreover, exams for subjects taken by a student will not be scheduled on the same day.
The board has released the date sheets approximately 86 days prior to the commencement of exams, which is 23 days earlier than last year. This advance notice aims to assist students in starting their preparation early, reducing anxiety, and enhancing performance.
To be eligible for board exams, students must maintain a minimum of 75 percent attendance, although this requirement may be relaxed under special circumstances. Around 44 lakh students from 8,000 schools in India and abroad are set to appear for the Class 10 and 12 board examinations next year. The board has also provided the schedule for practical examinations, internal assessments, and project work, with regular schools beginning these assessments on January 2025.
